Alvin "Acóma" is a Boston-based artist with over 20 years of experience working as a painter, sculptor, and airbrush artist. His journey as an artist began at the early age of 11 as he practiced graffiti art. His tenure in professional graffiti art traces back to the 1990's, when he was featured in exhibits hosted at the Massachusetts State House, ICA, Mass College of Art and more, through his involvement as a founding member of the revolutionary Roxbury Graffiti crew called the "Young Graffiti Masters" (YGM).
Since his grassroot beginnings, "Acóma" has collaborated with several artists and featured his talent on murals displayed throughout the Boston area including both commercial and residential clientele.
Co-Founder of "MadInk", Acóma designed and airbrushed custom apparel for individuals who were looking for unique garments that could not be purchased in any major retail store.
Today, "Acóma" presents a fashion-forward, street art clothing collection inspired by his original graffiti works, that street art admirers can enjoy around the world.
